This series of small paintings is based on my nature photography posted on my Instagram account, @bella_ormseth_artist. The nature photograph of a given month that received the most likes became the subject of my painting. I gave myself 6 days to complete the painting, forcing me to think and paint fast. What emerged was a series of self portraits. These paintings were in the "Masters in Miniature" show at the Vashon Center for the Arts in December 2018.
